Para Kore Annual Report 2017-2018
It gives me great pleasure to present our annual report for the year ending 30 June 2018, a year where has since continued growth and expansion of both the Para Kore team and regions where the programme is available. [Download PDF here]
At the AGM held in Kāwhia last November, the Board made significant advances in our strategic planning, including mapping out a way forward for the growth of the organisation and the Para Kore movement. We have been impressed by the way the management team have forged ahead with the implementation of our strategic goals and are confident that the structural changes within Para Kore will support the growth in the organisation going forward. In the coming year the Board intends to review it’s constitutional and governance arrangements to ensure they are fit-for-purpose for projected growth in the organisation.
Over the past year there have been a number of changes in the Board including the resignation of Dr Pala Molisa and Marianna Tyler and the appointment of Korty Wilson from Ohakune and Jenny Nelson-Smith from Kahungunu, so we have maintained nine board members from Te Upoko o te Ika through to Te Hiku. I would like to thank all our Board Members for their time, given to Para Kore at no cost, and their thoughtful leadership in planning for the future. I would also like to thank our General Manager and all our employees for their incredible work and ongoing commitment.
Ngā manaakitanga o te wā ki runga ki a koutou.
