Oranga Kura is a waste minimisation behaviour change programme funded by Waikato District Council for schools that are serious about reducing their waste.

He aha te whāinga?

The number one goal of the Oranga Kura programme is to reduce waste to landfill school-wide by 50% by June 2025, and to maintain this until June 2026.

What's Up This Term?

Focus this term: Para Kai | Food Waste

1. Send in any remaining waste to landfill invoices needed. (Refer to the milestones tab in the dashboard to see which ones we need from you). Scan and send in your invoices. We’ll do the rest.
