The Para Kore Commitment

Para Kore Marae Incorporated commits to:

• providing the programme both in-person and on-line according to the rōpū preference
• providing a kaiārahi/advisor to support the rōpū
• delivering Para Kore wānanga, waste checks and on-going support and guidance
• supporting you to put systems in place that reduce and eliminate waste to achieve 50% reduction 
• providing resources and information to assist you to design out waste;
• providing equipment (value based on your rōpū size) to support your Para Kore journey.  All equipment distributed will remain the property of Para Kore.

Your Rōpū commits to:

• providing a kaitiaki/champion for the kaiārahi to work with; 
• doing a waste check with the support of the kaiārahi.  This can be facilitated online.
• providing time for Para Kore to deliver workshops relating to reducing waste in-person or on-line within 6 months of signing this agreement.
• if applicable, stopping backyard disposal (burning and burying of rubbish) within 6 months of signing this agreement:
• providing data on waste / recycling quantities to Para Kore each quarter (every three months)(for two years) and;
• putting systems in place that reduce and eliminate waste to achieve 50% reduction.

Photographs of your Rōpū may be used by Para Kore as a record of progress, to celebrate achievements on social media, and may also feature in the reports we provide to our funders. All photos we take can be shared with your kaitiaki/ champion so you also have a record of our journey together. Please inform your Kaiārahi if any photo cannot be used.
